IMPORTANT NOTES FOR WEARING TECH SUITS
Wearing your tech suit correctly not only ensures maximum comfort and performance but also extends the lifespan of the material. Please follow these 7 essential steps:
CRITICAL ATTENTION: Never put on your suit with long or sharp fingernails! Ensure your nails are trimmed and filed smooth. Sharp edges can snag or tear the fabric instantly. Note: Damage or tears caused by fingernails are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
1. Keep it Dry: Ensure both your body and the suit are completely dry before putting it on to prevent the fabric from sticking to your skin.
2. Prepare Cuffs and Waist: Flip the silicone grippers at the leg openings upward and fold the waistband down. This makes sliding your legs in much easier.
3. Use Fingertips Only: Use only the pads (fleshy part) of your fingertips to pull the fabric. Never pinch or dig your nails into the material.
4. Pull from the Seams: Always grip the suit by the seams or the area immediately surrounding them, as these parts are reinforced to handle more tension.
5. Position the Crotch (Most Important): Pull the suit all the way up your legs and ensure the crotch area is snug against your body before pulling it over your hips. This prevents air or water pockets and ensures a “second skin” fit.
6. Check the Drawstring: While the waistband is still folded down, ensure the drawstring is not twisted. Pull the strings outward, tie a neat bow, and then flip the waistband up to its final position.
7. Check the Fit: A proper tech suit should feel like a “second skin.” When you lightly tug the fabric away from your body, it should snap back immediately with almost no gap.
CARE & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
-> Rinse Immediately: Rinse with cold, chlorine-free water after every use.
-> No Soap/Detergents: Do not wear the suit while showering. Soaps, fabric softeners, and harsh chemicals will degrade the technical fibers.
-> Air Dry Only: Hang to dry or lay flat in the shade. Never use a dryer or any heat source to dry the product.
-> Avoid Rough Surfaces: Do not sit on rough pool decks or starting blocks. Abrasive surfaces can snag, tear, or fray the delicate fabric.
-> Minimize Wear/Removal: Limit the number of times you put on and take off the suit to prevent premature stretching of the fibers.
-> Proper Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
-> Follow Labels: Always adhere to the specific care instructions on the product’s internal tags.
